I've tried Image Button (which has known issues), Link Button, and just plain old vanilla Button. I know this happens after an update command happens on the database, but I want to write my own custom update. When clicking on either of these controls, my break point is never hit in the event method. What happens with this is that the source is being created every time the user submits the page.

Row Updated event not firing in Grid View This is only the 2nd time I've tried to create a full-fledged ASP.

I have a web application that shows a controls group based on a result set from a database.

I don't know how many controls do I have to create and I don't know what kind of control will it be. I know that the problem is that I create the controls in the Page_Load.
